Located in -1F of the museum, this 4D theater is uniquely designed with advanced projection technology and equipment. Compared with traditional theaters, the 4D Cinema not only provides high-definition images and stunning sound effects, but also makes the audience feel as if they are in a movie scene through the vibration of the seats, air jets, water jets and other special effects, experiencing a more realistic and exciting movie-going experience.
Total 24 seats, 3DOF Degree of Freedom motion platforms with two seats each.
In the 4D theater of Sichuan University Museum, the audience can enjoy various types of films, including nature, history, science fiction and other fields. These films will make full use of 4D technology to bring the audience into a world full of fantasy, allowing them to immerse themselves in the magnificent scenery of nature, the shocking moments of historical events as well as the fantastic conception of the science fiction world.
